Daniel is the Portfolio Manager of equities strategies at Brazil’s office. Before joining Compass Brasil, he was the equities manager responsible for the stock portfolio at Banco Santander’s Proprietary Desk. Additionally, he was the manager responsible for the long and short strategy at BNP Paribas. Previously, he worked as equities Co-Manager responsible for the long and short strategy within the multimarket funds at Itaú Asset Management. He started his career a Banco BBM as a stock analyst.
Daniel holds an engineering degree from Pontificia Universidade Católica of Rio de Janeiro and an MBA in Finance and Capital Markets from Fundação Getulio Vargas of Rio de Janeiro. Additionally, it is CGA certified.
